Customer LTV
This report shows you your Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), arranging the rows by the date when the customer was created.
This is often useful for merchants who are looking to see how spending trends over time.
Generally speaking, the further back you go for when the customer was created, the more their average Total Spent, Orders and Lifespan should increase as they've been a customer longer at your store.
As a Premium Report, this is available on all Paid Plans of Report Toaster. If you aren't signed up, follow these steps
here to upgrade your account.
Here is what you need to be familiar with to understand the Customer LTV report:
1.) Created At: The date when a customer was originally created.
Note that by default, this report is set to look at customers created in the Last 2 Years and breaks the data down monthly (see the date range, top right).
For example, if a customer was first created at your store on January 2023, then they would fall under this row of the report.
2.) Customers: The number of customers that were created that month.
For example, in January 2023, 300 new customers were were created at this store.
3.) Total Spent (avg): The average total amount that has been spent by these customers since they were first created at your store.
For example, all the customers created in January 2023 have a collective average Total Spent of 775.42 from then until Today.
4.) Orders (avg): The average number of orders placed by each of those customers
For example, all of the customers created in January 2023 have placed an average of 3.88 orders from then until Today.
5.) Lifespan (Days) (avg): The average lifespan of a customer, measured in days between their First Order Date and Last Order Date.
For example, all the customer's created in January 2023 have an average Lifespan of 165.45 days between their First and Last Order.
