Premium Report - Inventory Value by Location

Inventory Value by Location

Inventory Value Reports are used by merchants to see how much the amounts and value of their current stock.

For merchants who store inventory at multiple locations however, sometimes it's important to see your stock on a per-location basis, rather than simply seeing the totals.
This report follows a similar format to the Inventory Value report, but displays your total available, price, and cost of each item broken down by each inventory location you have setup in your Shopify store.

As a Premium Report, this is available on all Paid Plans of Report Toaster. If you aren't signed up, follow these steps here to upgrade your account.

Here are a few terms to be familiar with in order to understand the Inventory Value by Location Report:

1.) Title, Variant Title, Variant SKU: The name of the product, name of the variant and the associated SKU.

2.) Location ID, Location Name: The ID and the Name of the Location where the Inventory is stored.

3.) Available: The amount of stock for that SKU at this particular location.

For example, if I have 5 of the Sail on a Slice Product (FLT-00003) stored at the Pontiac Warehouse, the Available column will display 5.

4.) Total Price: The price of that particular SKU multiplied by the available quantity at that location.

For example, if the Sail on a Slice product has a Price of 16.99 and I have 5 of them available, then Total Price would be 16.99 x 5 = 84.95

5.) Total Cost: The cost of that particular SKU multiplied by the available quantity at that location.

For example, if the Sail on a Slice product has a Cost of 8.00 and I have 5 of them available, then Total Cost would be 8.00 x 5 = 40.00

Like all Report Toaster reports, these reports are fully customizable - so you can adjust the date range, add/remove columns, introduce a filter or change the sort to suit your individual needs. See our basic guides here for more info.
