Premium Report - Inventory Value by Location

Premium Report - Inventory Value by Location

Inventory Value by Location

Inventory Value Reports are used by merchants to see how much the amounts and value of their current stock.

For merchants who store inventory at multiple locations however, sometimes it's important to see your stock on a per-location basis, rather than simply seeing the totals.
This report follows a similar format to the Inventory Value report, but displays your total available, price, and cost of each item broken down by each inventory location you have setup in your Shopify store.
Info
As a Premium Report, this is available on all Paid Plans of Report Toaster. If you aren't signed up, follow these steps here to upgrade your account.

Here are a few terms to be familiar with in order to understand the Inventory Value by Location Report:

1.) Inventory item/Tracked, equal to, true (FILTER): This filter ensures that only tracked inventory shows in the report. It's best to leave this alone.

2.) Location ID/ Location Name: The Location ID and the Name of the Location where the Inventory is stored.

3.) Available: The amount of stock for that SKU at this particular location.
Idea
For example, if I have 11 of the 12-Pack Drink Floaties stored at the Pontiac Warehouse, the Available column will display 11.

4.) Total Price: The price of that particular SKU multiplied by the available quantity at that location.
Idea
For example, if the 12-Pack Drink Floaties product has a Price of $10.91 and I have 11 of them available, then Total Price would be $10.91 x 11 = $120.01

5.) Total Cost: The cost of that particular SKU multiplied by the available quantity at that location.
Idea
For example, if the 12-Pack Drink Floaties product has a Cost of $5.14 and I have 11 of them available, then Total Cost would be $5.14 x 11 = $56.54

Like all Report Toaster reports, these reports are fully customizable - so you can adjust the date range, add/remove columns, introduce a filter or change the sort to suit your individual needs. See our basic guides here for more info.
