Whats New? - March 2025

This month, we'll be taking a quick look at a new Premium Report we've added to the Marketing section, Sales by Traffic Source. 

Let's take a look!

Sales by Traffic Source

This report is ideal for merchants who are looking to categorize their orders by Traffic Source - Direct, Organic, Search and so on. 

(i.e. the Default Channel Group in Google Analytics)

Using a custom field, this report categorizes each of your customers by Traffic Source so you can see where most customers first came from before placing an order at the store.

From here, you can of course customize the report even further still, adding columns like First Visit Source/Source Type/Referrer URL and Referring Site to dig into the details.  

You can even go further still, perhaps using filters to limit the results to only certain Traffic Sources (e.g. only Social or Email) and then adding UTM fields as columns to see which specific Ad Campaigns are driving the most sales on your store:
